About the project The Tangem iOS app is a self-custodial crypto wallet that works with Tangem hardware cards over NFC and with mobile-only wallets. It covers the full product surface: multi-chain balances and transactions for dozens of networks, token swaps, staking, NFTs, WalletConnect, and Tangem Pay, a Visa card that lets users spend crypto anywhere cards are accepted. The app holds people's money, so security is a first-class requirement in everything we build. Tech stack Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, Swift Concurrency, Swift Package Manager Moya / Alamofire Tangem SDK for NFC card communication, WalletConnect Swift Testing, XCTest, XCUITest, snapshot tests fastlane, GitHub Actions Firebase Crashlytics, Amplitude Claude Code and Codex as everyday engineering tools Responsibilities: Design and build new features of the Tangem iOS app, from technical design to release. Clarify incomplete requirements, surface dependencies and risks, and propose technical solutions before implementation. Split work into small, logically complete pull requests and integrate changes continuously. Write automated tests and verify your features, including edge cases and negative scenarios, before handing them to QA. Review colleagues' pull requests regularly and give reasoned, actionable feedback. Own your tasks until they are released. Requirements: 5+ years of iOS development experience, including production apps you have shipped and supported. Strong Swift, SwiftUI, and Foundation skills; solid understanding of multithreading with hands-on experience in Swift Concurrency, Combine, and GCD. Understanding of core programming principles (OOP, SOLID, KISS, DRY, YAGNI) and the discipline to follow them. Experience with iOS app architecture (MVVM, Coordinator, dependency injection, modularization with SPM) and the ability to design features that fit the existing structure without overengineering. Experience writing unit tests with Swift Testing as part of everyday development. A security-minded approach: you know mobile security fundamentals (Keychain, Secure Enclave, secure networking, sensitive data handling), think about how a change could be abused, and raise doubts early. Everyday use of AI coding tools with the judgement to verify their output. Senior-level independence and clear communication: you raise blockers, risks, and schedule changes early. English at B2 or above, written and spoken, including calls with native speakers. Nice to have: Experience with cryptography in mobile apps: CryptoKit, secp256k1, ed25519, BIP32/BIP39. Understanding of blockchain principles, wallets, and transaction signing. Experience with CoreNFC. Experience with UI and snapshot testing.
